BOLLARDS

Robust impact barriers designed to protect your facility, equipment, and personnel

Safety Bollards for Commercial & Industrial Facilities

Designed to secure perimeters and protect critical assets across diverse work environments

Bollard systems are engineered to safeguard pedestrian walkways, facility entrances, and vulnerable infrastructure from vehicular impact. Because every property is unique, we select and configure each bollard installation based on the specific physical demands and traffic flow of your site—never a one-size-fits-all approach.

Our protective bollards are expertly selected and installed to match your exact site conditions, facility layout, and strict industry safety standards.

COMMERCIAL BOLLARDS

RESIDENTIAL BOLLARDS

Different projects require different applications. Explore how fall protection systems are applied in residential and commercial environments.

What are Bollards?

Bollards are sturdy, vertical posts designed to guide traffic, prevent unauthorized vehicle access, and safeguard pedestrians from collisions. They provide an essential physical and visual barrier to enhance security across commercial, industrial, and public spaces.

Bollards are commonly used for:

  • Protecting building entrances and storefronts
  • Safeguarding pedestrian walkways and crosswalks
  • Securing utility meters, pipes, and vulnerable equipment
  • Controlling vehicle access in parking lots and driveways

Guardrails for Commercial & Facilities

High-impact perimeter protection and traffic management systems

Strategically placed bollards provide a critical physical barrier against vehicular impacts, protecting your people, property, and essential infrastructure. Our heavy-duty bollard systems are engineered to safely guide traffic flow, secure vulnerable areas, and enhance overall site security without compromising accessibility.

Common applications:

  • Storefronts, building entrances, and public plazas
  • Warehouse loading docks and distribution centers
  • Pedestrian walkways and employee gathering areas
  • Exposed utilities, HVAC units, and structural columns
  • Parking lots, drive-thrus, and vehicle access points
  • Schools, corporate campuses, and government facilities

Key benefits:

  • Exceptional impact resistance and structural integrity
  • Durable, weather-resistant construction for long-term use
  • High-visibility finishes and reflective banding for maximum awareness
  • Versatile installation options (fixed, removable, or surface-mounted)
  • Helps maintain safety compliance and reduces liability risks

FAQs

Answers to the most common questions from residential contractors, commercial builders, and jobsite safety teams.

  • Are all bollards crash-rated?

No. While all bollards provide a strong visual and physical deterrent, only crash-rated (or impact-rated) bollards are specifically engineered and certified to stop vehicles traveling at certain speeds and weights. We help you select the appropriate rating based on your site's specific security risks and traffic speeds.

  • Can bollards be installed on existing concrete or asphalt?

Yes. Surface-mounted bollards can be bolted directly into an existing, structurally sound concrete slab. For asphalt surfaces or areas requiring heavy impact resistance, we core-drill and embed the bollards into deep concrete footings to ensure maximum stability.

  • Can bollards be temporarily removed for vehicle access?

Absolutely. If you occasionally need to allow delivery trucks or maintenance vehicles into a restricted area, we can install removable or collapsible bollards. These systems lock securely into place for everyday security but can be quickly unlocked and moved when access is required.

  • Do safety bollards require ongoing maintenance?

Bollards are highly durable and generally require very little maintenance. We recommend routine visual inspections to check for structural damage after any suspected impacts, clearing debris from the receivers of removable bollards, and replacing reflective covers or paint as needed to maintain high visibility.

OUTCOMES
