Effective date: October 16, 2026 | Last updated: October 16, 2026

Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Onsite Safety (“Onsite Safety,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us, request a quote, register for training, apply for a position, or otherwise interact with us online (together, the “Services”).

Onsite Safety provides fall protection systems, temporary guardrails, safety training and certification, safety consulting and compliance support, and safety gear and equipment to residential and commercial contractors and builders. Most of the information we handle relates to people acting for a business, such as a contractor, builder, or supervisor.

By using our Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Services. This policy does not apply to third-party websites, products, or services that we do not own or control, even if our Services link to them.

  • Employment applications: information you submit when you apply for a position, such as contact details, work history, education, certifications, and any documents you upload.
  • Messages and chat: the content of emails, forms, and chat conversations you send us, along with any other information you choose to share.
  • Reviews and feedback: comments, ratings, or testimonials you provide to us.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, date and time of visits, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see the “Cookies and Similar Technologies” section below.

Information from other sources

We may receive information from business partners, service providers, publicly available sources, and platforms you use to interact with us (for example, a review you post about us on a third-party site).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, or health information, through the general website. Please do not send us such information through the contact forms or chat.

How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, and communicate with you about our products and services;
  • provide, schedule, and administer training, certification, consulting, installation, and equipment services;
  • process orders, invoices, and payments, and provide customer support;
  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services, including analyzing how visitors use them;
  • send service communications and, where permitted by law, marketing communications you can opt out of at any time;
  • evaluate and process job applications;
  • detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, security incidents, and other harmful or unlawful activity;
  • comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect our rights, customers, and others; and
  • carry out any other purpose that we describe to you at the time we collect the information or that you consent to.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the Services working, remember preferences, measure performance, and understand how visitors use our site. These generally fall into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary: needed for security, page loading, and core functionality.
  • Analytics and performance: help us understand traffic and improve the website.
  • Functionality: support features such as embedded video, maps, and the website chat tool.
  • Advertising and marketing: if used, help measure the effectiveness of our marketing.

Your choices

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Services work. Where required by law, we honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) for the browser or device that sends the signal. Our Services do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals because there is no common standard for them. You can also use industry tools such as the opt-out pages offered by the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. We may disclose personal information in the following situations:

  • Service providers: companies that help us operate our business, such as website hosting, analytics, customer relationship management, email, scheduling, payment processing, chat, and IT support providers. They may use the information only to perform services for us.
  • Professional advisers: attorneys, accountants, insurers, and auditors.
  • Legal and safety reasons: to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Onsite Safety, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business or assets.
  • With your direction or consent: for example, when you ask us to share certification records with your employer or a project owner.
  • Aggregated or de-identified information: information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you may be shared for any purpose.

Some state laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly enough to include certain analytics or advertising cookies that make information available to third parties. To the extent our use of such technologies is treated that way, you can opt out as described in the “Your Privacy Rights and Choices” section.

Third-Party Services and Links

Our Services may include content or features provided by third parties, including embedded videos (such as YouTube), maps, customer review widgets (such as Google reviews), and chat tools. When you interact with this content, the third party may collect information about you under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review those policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third parties.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to meet legal, tax, accounting, safety-record, insurance, and reporting requirements, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and our relationship with you. Training and certification records, for example, may be kept longer than general website inquiries so that we can verify your credentials.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards that are designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.

Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including California, may have some or all of the following rights, subject to legal exceptions and eligibility:

  • Know and access: request confirmation that we process your personal information and obtain a copy of it, including the categories of information collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom it is disclosed.
  • Correct: request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete: request that we delete personal information we collected from you.
  • Opt out: opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling.
  • Limit sensitive information: where we use sensitive personal information beyond what the law permits without a choice, limit that use.
  • Non-discrimination: not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.

How to submit a request

Email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request,” or write to us at the address in the “Contact Us” section below. Please tell us which right you are exercising and give enough information for us to identify you in our records. To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may ask for additional information to do so. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, generally within 45 days, and will tell you if we need more time.

Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of the agent’s authority and may contact you to verify the request directly.

Appeals. If we decline to act on your request and your state provides a right to appeal, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing us with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.” If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may contact your state attorney general.

Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. We may still send you transactional or service messages.

This section supplements the rest of this policy for California residents. In the 12 months before the effective date of this policy, we collected and disclosed the following categories of personal information, as defined under California law, for the business purposes described in the “How We Use Information” section.

California residents may also ask which categories of personal information we disclose to third parties for their direct marketing purposes; to the extent that law applies to us, contact us using the details below.

Children’s Privacy

Our Services are directed to businesses and working adults and are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
